Outdoor Adventure Film Grant (2023)
**THE SUBMISSION PERIOD FOR THIS GRANT IS NOW CLOSED**
“The Nature Gap”
This year’s OAFG is looking for personal stories from and about the BIPOC community and Oregon's outdoors. What does adventuring in Oregon’s outdoors, and landscapes mean to you and how have you experienced them? Show us how they have they impacted your life, in both positive and/or detracting ways.
The Outdoor Adventure Film Grant '23 (OAFG23) aims to help support and amplify stories and storytellers (both in front of and behind the camera) utilizing Oregon’s outdoor spaces as a backdrop. The OAFG23 specifically invites experienced BIPOC filmmakers and their on-camera subjects that can create a short film pitch that should be able to inform, inspire, capture and/or reveal a personal journey involving an outdoor pursuit that is set against the backdrop of Oregon’s majestic landscape.
The $20,000 to $25,000 Grant is being provided by the Oregon Made Creative Foundation in conjunction with Travel Oregon.
We hold these three values to be important; justice, opportunity, and community - combining together to form a more equitable future.
